When you start with yoga, you typically have little idea about the depth of change you are creating. You might feel more aligned after your first classes. This feeling adds up. When you stick to it, you understand why Yoga is the journey to the Self. You will understand how your breath is connected to your feelings. You will understand that there's more inside of you than you might have thought for a long while.

I started doing yoga 15 years ago. It took me a long while to find the teachers who had a yoga approach that resonated with me. Just doing asana is not yoga. Just following a scheme is not teaching. Being over-spiritual without incorporating what spirit means is not alignment. Few people do really explain how Yoga creates change in our body/energy-system. I think we need to explain.

The better we understand how emotions and trained thoughts are stored in our tissues, the better we can understand how to deconstruct patterns. The better we understand how moving our body with conscious breathing will create space and freedom in our body, the more we can link that experience to the creation of space and freedom in our life. The benefits will deepen over time. Stick to it, play, observe, explore.

My teachings are mainly influenced by Laughing Lotus Yoga, New York. I am teaching the essence in a non-conventional way. I believe that breaking out of conventions is the way to meet ourselves.
